Privacy Policy

Your player information is private by default.

Effective September 2, 2026 · Version 2026-09-02.v1

Suggestions and contact messages

When you suggest a listing, report a correction or contact us, we store your message, the activity details and any email you choose to provide in a private review queue. We use these to verify listings and respond to your message, not to subscribe you to marketing. Do not submit another person's private contact information. Verified activity information may be published; your contact email is not published. Contact us at our contact page about a submission or deletion request.

Who operates this service

NexHuddle operates this Jacksonville, Florida sports directory and player-matching pilot. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through the player dashboard or the contact form.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide, including your verified email, first name, sports, self-described level, normal availability, preferred areas, travel and price preferences, roster categories, notice required, and communication choices. We also store account identifiers, consent records, opportunity responses, introductions, security records, and basic technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Captain and operator requests include their contact information and details of the roster opening.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure your account, match your preferences to relevant substitute requests, free-agent openings, league registrations and drop-in games, deliver requested communications, review roster requests, make introductions you authorize, prevent abuse, correct errors, and measure whether NexHuddle helped produce a response, introduction or registration.

Who can see it

Your player profile is not a public directory. A captain or operator does not receive your email or other contact information simply because you match or express interest. Before an introduction, NexHuddle identifies the recipient and opportunity and asks you to authorize that specific disclosure. The recipient must agree to use your information only to coordinate that opportunity.

Service providers

NexHuddle uses Vercel to host the website and monitor performance, Supabase to authenticate accounts and store data, PostHog for aggregate product analytics, and Resend to deliver account and player-opportunity email. Resend receives the recipient email address and the limited message details needed for that delivery, such as first name, sport and opportunity information. These providers process information for NexHuddle under their service terms and do not become entitled to use the player pool as their own marketing list.

When a league operator, captain, venue owner or other organizer uses the provider inquiry form and agrees to business follow-up, NexHuddle may copy the minimum business contact and inquiry details into a provider relationship system such as HighLevel. Player profiles, availability, account credentials and private matching history are not included in that provider CRM.

Email and future text messages

Player opportunity email requires affirmative consent and can be paused from your dashboard. The optional weekly sports digest has its own signup and consent. Joining the player pool does not subscribe you to the digest. Digest and marketing email provide an unsubscribe method. Providing a phone number does not authorize automated text messages. NexHuddle will request separate consent before enabling SMS alerts.

Analytics and referral measurement

NexHuddle records aggregate website usage and outbound clicks, including the sport, provider, listing and page involved. A referral click is not treated as proof that someone registered or paid. Player-pool workflow events may be associated with an account so the service can measure whether a request was delivered, answered, introduced or completed.

Public session replay is disabled. PostHog does not receive form entries, passwords, private player dashboards or the private operations dashboard through NexHuddle's product analytics integration. Analytics respects browser Do Not Track settings and does not create PostHog person profiles.

What we do not do

We do not publish phone numbers or email addresses, sell a downloadable player list, automatically add private provider rosters to the player pool, infer protected traits from names or photographs, or fabricate player ratings. We do not collect league payments during this pilot.

Retention

Unverified enrollment records expire. Active profile information is kept while you use the service. Expired requests, consent records, security records and introduction history may be retained for a limited period to resolve disputes, prevent abuse and document compliance. NexHuddle will delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, except where retention is required for security, legal or opt-out compliance.

Your choices

You may pause alerts, correct profile preferences, or request deletion through your dashboard. You may also ask what account information NexHuddle holds. Some minimal records may be retained when necessary to honor an opt-out, protect the service, document consent, resolve a dispute, or satisfy legal obligations.

Security and incidents

NexHuddle limits personal-data access to authorized purposes and uses access controls provided by its hosting and database services. No system can promise absolute security. If a qualifying incident occurs, NexHuddle will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.

Adults only

The player pool is intended only for people age 18 or older. Do not create a player-pool profile for a minor.

Information not to provide

Do not enter medical information, injury history, exact home addresses, government identification numbers, payment-card information or passwords into player profiles, roster requests or notes.

Policy changes

Material changes will be dated and identified by a new policy version. When a change materially expands how player information is used or shared, NexHuddle will provide notice and request new consent when appropriate.
